Helping to cripple Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids in the war. This book also looks at the Pacific theater, and how American armor was employed with great success in that theater of war. Detailed information on American and Japanese armored forces, including development, equipment, capabilities, organization, and order of battle, is given. This episode of Big Blend Radio features the historic Beauregard Parish Jail in DeRidder, Louisiana. Known as the Gothic Jail or Hanging Jail, this former jailhouse was built 1914 in the Gothic Revival architecture style, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 17, 1981. It is known for being the jail where two men were hanged for murdering a taxi driver, and said to be haunted.This interview was recorded on-location at the Beauregard Tourist Commission, located next door to the Jail, and home to a Doll Museum.
